| I got something excited today I was designing My new site and it's like windows running on a site if you want to see my new site early here www.geocities.com/alllcom/Winpokemon.html JUst to warn you every thing doesn't work too well but I have some addtional stuff and you can shut down the windows and open Mac Os X (apple operating system) It's not been worked on so long yet oh yea on the windows you can minamize and close and alot stuff. And I sugestt to have dsl or faster. I got the idea from www.pokemongold.com they use flash but I haven't install my flash thing so I just use pics and it's very hard. | Miramax Gets 'Pokemon' Rights 4/9/02 LOS ANGELES (AP) - Miramax Films has acquired the distribution rights to the next two "Pokemon" movie sequels, both in North America and internationally outside of Asia. The movie company, which is owned by the Walt Disney Co., completed the deal late Tuesday but no financial details were disclosed. A source close to the negotiations told the Los Angeles Times that Miramax paid $1 million up front and promised the rights holders a 75 percent share on back-end profits. The deal gives Miramax the theatrical, home-video and television distribution rights, and the option of releasing future "Pokemon" films. Warner Bros. had the distribution rights to the first three "Pokemon" movies, which grossed more than $145 million domestically, and was bidding for the fourth and fifth installments. It still controls the rights to two "Pokemon" television series airing on the Kids WB! Network. Miramax negotiated the deal with Pokemon USA Inc., the brand management licensing subsidiary of the Japanese consortium that owns the "Pokemon" franchise. All the "Pokemon" cartoons are produced in Japan. The frenzy over the animated, warring monsters has subsided in recent years. The first "Pokemon" movie released in 1999 grossed more than $85 million in the United States, but the last film only tallied $17 million. Miramax co-chairman Harvey Weinstein said the company will reinvigorate the "Pokemon" franchise, using the company's marketing savvy. | At a gala news conference in Japan bustling with celebrities and guest appearances by performers dressed as 4/26/02 Pokemon, the Pok�mon Co. of Japan revealed details of the fifth Pok�mon movie and dropped the first official word about the next Pokemon game. Tsunekazu Ishihira, the President of Pokemon Co. and producer of both Pok�mon games and movies, said the all-new Pokemon game is on track to be released in Japan in late fall. Millions of Japanese Pok�-fans are eagerly setting aside plenty of playing time for Pokemon Advance. U.S. launch plans for the game were announced. Given the overwhelming stateside success of all things Pokemon, though, it seems a safe bet that the game will come out here. (Farly impossible) The movie, whose title literally translates as "Guardian Spirits of the Water Capital: Latius and Latios," takes place in a mystery place on water. A baffling maze of canals and alleyways provides the glamorous setting for the continuing adventures of Ash and his Pok�mon. Think of Venice, with all the unique thrills and challenges of Pokemon. In fact the filmmakers prepared for the animated feature by visiting and painstakingly studying the world's most famous water-bound city. Latius and Latios are the Japanese names of two Pokemon introduced in the still-secret story-line. Latius, a female, is a red Pokemon who is smaller than big, blue Latios, who apparently is her brother. Curious gamers might cross the Pacific to the official movie website. Because this Flash-enabled site is in Japanese, exploring it requires a spirit of adventure. However, you can find some real treasures here, including exclusive wallpaper, pictures of the all-new Pokemon and QuickTimes from the press conference. As with previous Pok�mon movies, "Guardian Spirits of the Water Capital: Latius and Latios" will be preceded by a short, here called "Pika Pika Starlight Camp." Debuting in this mini-adventure is a pre-evolved form of Wobbuffet. In Japanese, the new Pok�mon's name is Sona-no. A photo of an actor dressed as Sona-no appears on the official web site. "Guardian Spirits of the Water Capital: Latius and Latios" is scheduled to hit movie screens from the Pacific Ocean to the Sea of Japan on July 13.
