At age 16, Brenda was married and to this union, 2 daughters were born, Jackie Lynn Smith, who preceded her in death and Robin Marie.
In 1977, Brenda moved to Pauls Valley, Ok., where she met Ervin Speerbrecher and they were married July 1,1978. They had one son John, born November 7, 1980.
Brenda worked at Kellwood and Covercraft untill May 2003, when she became a missionary and homemaker. Her and Ervin had just returned from a mission trip to Monterrey, Mexico 2 weeks prior to her passing.
Brenda loved to sew, quilt, read her bible and take care of her granddaughter.
Brenda was preceded in death by 1 child Jackie Lynn Smith and her uncle Earl Lee Posey.
She is survived by her husband, Ervin Speerbrecher of the home: her dad and step mom Lester and Sue Scott of Arlington,Texas: Her Mother and step dad Marion and Ken Turner of Corsicana,Texas: 2 children, Robin Marie Gray of Purcell,Ok. , and John Speerbrecher of the home.
2 half brothers Duce Turner and John Scott.. 2 sisters Kelly Thompson of Fayetteville, Ark. , and Mary Scott of Waco,Texas, 3 half sisters Leslie Scott Lila Scott and Sheila Turner.. Her aunt Katherine and 1 granddaughter Macalah Dawn Gray of Purcell,Ok.
Brenda and Ervin shared 25 years together. In May 2003 Ervin accepted Jesus Christ as the Lord of his life and Brenda rededicated her life to her Savior and Lord. God blessed them with the happiest 10 months of their lives. We dont know why God chose to take her Home with Him at this time, but we do know we will see her again one day.
