MMORPGs. What an easy-to-pronounce acronym. Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game - it literally slides off Okama's kebab-laden tongue. Games like Everquest and Eve are all the rage now, so Okama thought this homo will give a stab at playing FFXI (Final Fantasy XI), the latest role-playing game played online with other losers who don't get laid.

Okama, who has played the Final Fantasy series on the Famicom (N!p version of the original Nintendo Entertainment System) had great hopes for FFXI. After all, the game costs $49 (U.S.) and $12.95/month (U.S.) to play. Must be worth every penny right?

Wadda waste of time and money! Upon talking to FFXI junkies in the game, I was told to not bother playing this game unless I had 6+ hours of free time per session. 6+ hours/session or you're not in the loop. And you can't play alone eventually. After a while, you need spend a few hours finding other dweebs to form a party to kill stronger bad monsters. One player said to Okama "Final Fantasy is my life." Go figure.

Okama is too busy tending to his immediate duty of reconstructing Okama-ghanistan with the U.N. peacekeepers and NATO. He will leave the peacekeeping in Vana'diel to those who eat and sleep in front of their PS2 or PC.

* Cosplay - Short for Costume play. It started with the JAPanese low-lifes who just can't get enough dressing
up as their favorite video game character and going to such gatherings to shmooze with like-minded dumbA$$ES.
