Biogrophy
Elijah Jordan Wood was born on January 28, 1981 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He modeled and did local commercials in the Midwest until he moved to Los Angeles in 1988. His first job there was in a music video of Paula Abdul's (American Idol judge). That job quickly led to a small part in Back to the Future II and a role in Barry Levinson's Avalon. In 1991 he got his first lead role in Paradise. His good reviews also got him good parts in films such as Forever young, Radio Flyer, and The Good Son. He recieved praise for these films especially for The Adventures of Huck Finn, and The War and North. In 1997 he gave a remarkably nuanced performanced in The Ice Storm. This was a very Pivotal film for Elijah, as it got him roles in Deep Impact, and The Faculty in 1998. In 2001 our beloved Elijah recieved the role as Frodo in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, such as The Fellowship of the Ring, and in 2002, The Two Towers. This year he will again play Frodo in The Return of the King, the third part of the LOTR trilogy out in theaters December 17th. He will also join Robin Williams,and Brittany murphy in the animated, musical comedy Happy Feet. We are all soooo proud of Elijah arent we!
