| Hi! I am one of the co-leaders for Troop 272. Nicki (who is also my big sister and best friend) asked me to help her with these special girls in the fall of 2002 when our troop started with 11 Daisies. I had no children of my own in the troop until fall of 2006 when my youngest, Alexis, started as a Daisy. So for the past four years they were all my Girl Scouts. I also have 2 boys, Dylan, who is 12, and Brandyn, who is 11. I love to watch my kids play sports, this is one of my past times (well during football and baseball season it is all of my time! LOL!) My favorite colors are orange and pink. I love to watch reality TV. My favorite singer is Ashlee Simpson (and of course still Tracy Lawrence!). My favorite food is FAIR FOOD...but only when the weather is not too hot!!!! Three words to describe me: Outgoing, Energetic and Fun! My favorite thing to do with my family is going to Kelly's Island, riding the bike trail, family game night and hiking at Mohican. I really enjoy anything allows my to spend quality time with them! We currently have 3 pets in our home. 1 hamster (I can't remember if it's Sara or Buttercup as we had one casulty) a 9 year old yellow lab named Melissa and a 5 month old chocolate lab named Daisy Duke. The most fun I've personally had with Girl Scouts is still Discover the Great Outdoors. This year was even better since I could spend the whole time with the girls and not in training. I also enjoyed Libby Lu a lot, shopping, especially at Easton, is right up my alley! I really enoy watching these girls grow up, they are such special people, and even though sometimes I don't feel like being there when I get there, I remember why I was going there in the first place. They are truly a wonderful group and I have really enjoyed watching them grow every year. |
