If practice for MagnaTractions was any indication, we would be in for more than our share of track calls. After running the polymer traction magnets in the Tyco's and the SG+ cars in the support race, these classic low down force cars were quite a different animal and everyone needed to tame them as quick as possible.

Second main race of the day was AFX MagnaTraction's with stock hard bodies. The drivers choice of bodies was as varied as a field of 5 drivers would allow. Classic GTP and Can-Am cars, European sports cars and modern American muscle all made an appearance.

Neil and Ed both put in a number of laps with their cars they would use for the main. Despite both saying they were not MagnaTraction racers, they were able to put in some quick laps times during practice.

Bob put some laps in to warm up while Gilles continued to break in the car built the night before.

Steve ran a marathon practice session racking up some 200 laps before power went down.

First Place of $25 went to Neil, Second Place of $15 to Ed and Third Place of $10 went to Steve.

The long practice session and qualifying race made for a very fast and evenly matched race. But as with all races, there can only be one winner... and on this day it was Neil taking the win by 1 lap over Bob.

Congratulations on the win Neil!

After the races totals were put into the computer, the top three winners were decided upon and awarded their cash prize.

An additional prize of a 1/43 scale HotWheels Ferrari was donated by Ed and awarded to the holder of the quickest lap of the day. Track owner Neil took the honor with a lap of 4.703sec in the Tyco NASCAR race.

Congratulations to all the winners and huge thanks you's to all those who helped make this an extremely fun day of racing.
