2009 State Finals Celebration
It was a great weekend to conclude the OhioJBQ season. Warm temperatures and sunny, blue skies provided the backdrop as young Bible Quizzers and their families celebrated their accomplishments. Each and every child that memorizes Bible verses and is able to complete a five month long season is worthy of a celebration. We are so very proud of the efforts put forth by our children and we know it would not be possible without the vision and burden of parents who desire to see them have a closer relationship with God through His Word. The competition and the rewards are such an enjoyable and motivating part of what we do on a monthly basis as we gather together for a tournament. However, our season ending celebration has become one the best times of the year. We know how hard everyone works and its great to see everyone having a great time. From the children playing games together to the adults enjoying each other's fellowship: from the awesome annointing upon our Children's Church service to the special times of praying together, it all helps us appreciate the closeness of our OhioJBQ family that much more. Once it is all over, it makes you look forward to another great year in 2010. Thank you to everyone who made our State Finals Celebration weekend a huge success. We appreciate Bro. Kramer and Apostolic Christian Church of Mount Vernon for being such generous hosts. Thank you to Bro. Palmer for the support of the Ohio Sunday School Division. Thank you Bro. and Sis. Redmond for organizing our tournament and all the events. Thank you to Sis. McFerrin and the Puppet Team from Calvary Apostolic Church for leading our children in a special time of worship. The blessings that we receive in OhioJBQ are not the result of just one person, but rather the labor of love of many people who treasure the Word of God and are willing to dedicate their time to invest in our children's salvation. Our prayerful desire is to see this annointed children's ministry reach more lives than ever before!
