Who the hell is Kel? Sorry for the annoying rhyme...
Kel is the second Lady Knight of Tortall in the books. She is known as the Protector of the Small because she wants to help the small & less fortunate and believes all people should be equal. Before beginning her page training, Kel lived 6 years in the Yamani Ils. while her parents were the Tortallan ambassadors there. There she learned not to show her emotions in public (and stay cool in bad situations) and the use of her favorite weapon, the glaive. I'll explain about that at some other point. Kel has to overcome tremendous odds in order to win her shield, but she refuses to quit. Her relentless determination and disregard of anyone's nasty comments toward her make her yet another example of grrrl power=:-) |
