Question: If you were to pursue a college degree some day, what would be your major and why?

Melissa: I've changed several times, but I like psychology. Of course, I like music, and I'm very interested in law.

Question: Was your throat sore when you did the "Disney -In Concert" show with 2Gether?

Melissa: I had a cold. I had a really bad cold.

Question: What kind of foundation do you use?

Melissa: I use a Cover Girl foundation and, of course, there are many, so I would have to ask my makeup artist which one I use. And I also use Cover Girl mascara. Of course I use Cover Girl products.

Question: Do you like �N Sync, and who is your favorite?

Melissa: I like 'N Sync as well as I like the Backstreet Boys, and I like all of them. Both sets of guys are very nice.

Question: Did your parents both support you as your career started developing?

Melissa: My parents have always been supportive. My mom gave up her career to make sure that I was okay in this business.

Question: Melissa, I love singing and I am in almost every choir in my school. I just wanted to know, where did you start singing?

Melissa: In my home.

Question: Hey, do you have any brothers or sisters, and if yes, how many and what are their names?

Melissa: I have one brother, 17, and his name is Anthony.

Question: Are you a regular on AOL?

Melissa: Occasionally I do go into the chat rooms and listen or read some of the things that are being said. My mom is an Internet fanatic. Lately, I really haven't had time to do so, though.

Question: Do you have a radio show with Rick Dees tomorrow morning?

Melissa: Yeah! It's gonna be fun, I love Rick Dees!

Question: Melissa... why do you always wear hair extensions?

Melissa: I started to wear hair extensions when I did the"Make You Mine" video and because my hair was being changed and styled every week, it was damaging my hair. So with a lot of heat and maneuvering in my head I had to do something to make it less stressful on my hair, and so I started wearing extensions.

Question: Melissa, would you ever do a song with TLC or another female group?

Melissa: Actually, I have a song on the new album with Blaque. And I would love to do something with TLC.

Question: What is your favorite TV show?

Melissa: My favorite TV show... hmm... since I don't look at TV much anymore, I liked the show "Friends."

Question: Being a teen yourself, do you think you have made a positive influence on teens today?

Melissa: Well, I'm actually 18 now..going on 19 next month, but I think I would like to think that I have had some influence in a positive manner for all ages. But I'm not perfect either.

Question: When did you start singing?

Melissa: At the age of 2.
