I watched A Beautiful Mind last night...finally. OK, so I'll admit it...Russell Crowe is an amazing actor. But I still think he needs attitude adjustment.
That book I started reading a month ago is so **** slow! I can't bring myself to turn the pages, although that might be the most exciting part of reading it. I HAVE to finish it though....I'm sooo close.
French is coming along slowly but surely. The vowels are the toughest part so far. But then again, the only thing I did before that were the alphabets...so putting it into perspective, I'm doing pretty horribly! I just finished learning how to pronounce words with the vowel "a" or shud I say "ah".
Oh, the World Youth Day cross came to our parish on Monday. I was one of the 30 candle-bearers in procession, and even did a Prayer of the Faithful (ummm....Pat, you must know what that is). Hazel Macallion (Mississauga's Mayor) was there at the beginning to witness the blessing of the bell tower...which despite my hopes that it would sound like the bells of Notredame (from The Hunchback of Notredame) sounded artificial and even annoying during the encore ringing (who asked for that anyway). |
