Had a good time at my cousin's place. Since he has satellite, I got to watch "Frequency". That movie is AWESOME!! It made me think...If I could contact someone in the past, who would it be? The first person I thought of was my Grandfather. He died about seven years ago, when I was just beginning to understand what an amazing person he was. I realized that I would have liked to talk to him....about so much stuff! Then I thought about how cool it would be to talk to Jesus...one glitch though...I'm sure radio transmitters weren't around 2000 years ago! So scratch that! Hmmm.. what else? O, I've started reading another book. A Gesture Life by Chang-Rae Lee. Very subdued and descriptive..very artsie-fartsie. So different from John Grisham's law mystery, The Brethren. Still, it goes into great depth to describe characters.

Anyone watch "World Beer Games 2002"...beer chugging and sliding beer glasses across long tables were just two of the many games...as for the overall champions: Canada stood first, USA second, and Poland third. Yeah, I was bored. Then there was that other show "American Idols"...youngins from across America competed by singing in front of 3 judges (1 of whom was Paula Abdul)...and their fate was decided right after their performance....in some cases rather rudely. This one judge, Simon, couldn't stop with the rudeness. To one poor soul he said, "who's your music teacher?" The young performer went on to tell him the name of her teacher. Then he said, "do you have a lawyer?" She said "No." He said, "well, you should get one, and sue your teacher!" Ouch! Yes, this is how I spend my weeknights!

Hey Pat, I tried to sign your guestbook but it didn't work. Will try again later, but maybe you didn't set it up yet? Em, the basement looks just as I imagined! So spacious!! T-bay reminds me of this liitle part of Mississauga called "Streetsville"...even the stores look like houses. Your sitting area at work is so nice....Love that chair! The one I have at work is a tattered peice of garbage. Speaking of work. Today we had a company luncheon for this guys who is retiring after 39 years of service to the company. It was at the Holiday Inn in Oakville. The chicken was great. Yes, Alice...CHICKEN! =) And for dessert, I couldn't resist eating 2 eclairs. Mmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Does Omar have a website that I don't know about?? Anni and Em both made a mention about something about him that I couldn't understand. Lemme Know!
