Jen, to answer your question...YES someone does read your website...as often as possible. Your one-liners are so funny! :) But now to more pressing matters. In the matter of "the anchor and the link", here's my verdict. I would not suggest any form of direct heat (keep flames away). That may cause permanent damage. But try rubbing with a cloth, to create enough friction to make the link flexible. Remember that if it went in, it can come out! Keep at it.

So SICK!! So very SICK! Hate having the flu!! Still suffering a pounding headache. High on advil, tylenol and "coactified cough" syrup! Did have just enough energy to enjoy the weekend though! You see, every year, Mississauga hosts a multi-cultural festival called "Carassauga" spanning three days...every year in the past I've wanted to go...but never made it. This year I did! I went to the following pavillions: Friday ---> EGYPT...great belly dancers and costumes. Bought a papyrus book mark with King Tut's handsome face on it.8) Ate Shawarma and Filafel sandwiches. SCOTLAND...enjoyed traditional folk music and the lively sound of bagpipes. GREECE...some serious thomping in those dances! Ate a "baklava"...but too sweet! Saturday ---> INDIA...great Bollywood dance performances. Awesome food! PHILIPPINES... watched a bunch of folk dances that had a story behind it...that I couldn't really follow. But nice costumes all the same. Bought this little wooden slipper...cute souviner! Sunday---> CROATIA...wonderful folk dances!! Such cute costumes! Not to mention cute guys! *) Ate Shish-kebabs and crepes! YUMMY! JAMAICA...listened to some reggae performances, man! Sad that I couldn't make it to all 16 pavillions!

Yeah, I know...I really suck at keeping this page up-to-date! So much to tell!! Here goes.... First of all, our pet fish died yesterday. I never thought I would care, but when I found out he was dying and that I couldn't do anything to help him, I was actually brought to tears. When turning on the lights after dark, we have developed the habbit of looking in his direction, only to find that he's not there anymore. I can't believe I miss him! I named him "Khobro"...which in Konkani (my native language) means "stories"...don't ask! Besides that small let-down, the week was fab! I'd like to officially announce that for the first time, I've managed to keep off the 5lbs that I lost during exams!! Finally watched "Lord of the Rings"...I was very confused! I knew I should have read the book first!! Speaking of which...that book I gave you, Alice..."The Brethren", I'm reading it...it's AWESOME! So many twists! Oh, and the other day, I had Mango Bubble Tea...COLD!!!!! Mmmm....Soooo good!....Sooooo expensive! Went shopping today. Bought a pretty skirt with floral print and a nice top to match it. Couldn't find shoes to go with the ensemble...so will try again next week. At work, I got to play around with Liquid Nitrogen...crack some leaves and flowers! I also ordered a new soldering iron...cost my boss close to $500! Still lovin' every day of it...I'll let you know when that changes. Jen, mosquito repellant!? Cool! Keep us posted!

Jen, I understand your boredom! I'm so bored I'm volunterily doing my chores...without my Mum nagging! I think it's Chlorox Bleach...I remember reading in a Science textbook that it caused an explosion in someone's toilet once cause they added Chlorox to Drano...I'm not sure about the fizzing though. I got to use an SEM at work today. And watched my supervisor use a "sand-blaster" yesterday. Now although it sounds like fun, you have to wear super strength gloves to prevent yourself from being skinned alive by the force of the sand and air!! Eck! Didn't mean to sound so grusome! Finally finished reading "The Brethren"...disappointing ending! I like the new look of your webpage, Em!!

WooHoo!! Go Alice!! We need to talk...I'm confused about something. I may just be stupid, but I have a few questions to ask you. By the time you read this, I would probably have already spoken to you. How pointless this entry is...but I have to make up for all the days that I have been "unloyal"(?#!*~) to this page!! Hey, Anni...do you have a page yet? We haven't heard from you in a while!! Pat, brief us up on whatz happenin' in Japan! Can't wait!

Hmmm...what plans have I for the weekend? I'm going to my cousin's place to see his new house. Apart from that, it's pretty dry. O, OH!!! Michelle won a bronze medal in Mixed Doubles Badminton during the ROPSSAA (Regional Ontario...something or the other #!~* ) tournament. And at the Athletic Banquet, she and her partner in crime also received a medal of MDP (Most Dedicated Player...never heard of that one before!) Anyways, I'm so proud of my lil' sis that I had to share the good news with you guys! I found out recently that in two weeks, a post graduate will be working in our research division. He graduated from Chem Eng (RyHi) and then did his Masters in Chem Application at Waterloo. Will keep you posted. (WARNING: the contents below may spur a cat-fight!) Em, I noticed on your page that the fish you chose to link to my page was the thinnest one of all. I'm flattered!! Now, girls...no need to be jealous!! As Alice would say, cest la vie!! hehehe!!
