Alrite, I don't know how your guys can keep up with the spam AND the regular, detailed webpage updates!  I admire you all!  You know who you are.  Then there are those who are getting away without even having webpages.  (Anni).  Hey look who's name I finally mentioned!

Jen: you gotta tell us what happened.  I promise I won't laugh...(out loud).
Em: that food looks soooo good!  Do you have any idea how much I love beef?!  Especially the saucy, stir-fried (drool, drool) kind you find on Chinese Take Out menus.

I watched
A Beautiful Mind last night...finally.  OK, so I'll admit it...Russell Crowe is an amazing actor.  But I still think he needs attitude adjustment.

That book I started reading a month ago is so **** slow!  I can't bring myself to turn the pages, although that might be the most exciting part of reading it.  I HAVE to finish it though....I'm sooo close.

French is coming along slowly but surely.  The vowels are the toughest part so far.  But then again, the only thing I did before that were the alphabets...so putting it into perspective, I'm doing pretty horribly! I just finished learning how to pronounce words with  the vowel "a" or shud I say "ah".

Oh, the World Youth Day cross came to our parish on Monday.  I was one of the 30 candle-bearers in procession, and  even did a
Prayer of the Faithful (ummm....Pat, you must know what that is).  Hazel Macallion (Mississauga's Mayor) was there at the beginning to witness the blessing of the bell tower...which despite my hopes that it would sound like the bells of Notredame (from The Hunchback of Notredame) sounded artificial and even annoying during the encore ringing (who asked for that anyway).

OK guys, I'm ALIVE!  Like you said Alice, GOD BLESS ALL ICE-PACKS and the INVENTOR of those wonderful things!  God bless ICE!   And Tylenol 3 too!!  You were right too, Em...the pain isn't too bad.

When the laughing gas was started, it felt like forever before it kicked in.  In fact, I didn't think it was even working!  Then the nurse inserted the IV, then the anti-swelling chemical.  She warned me that some people feel this itching sensation in the groin and butt area.  I was like...whatever!  That probably won't happen to me.  But I happen to be one of the "some people".  Then I started to laugh uncontrollably.  She then said she'd help me out by injecting this other drug...where some people feel like they weigh a tonne and feel like they're going to fall through the chair, while others feel the opposite...lik they're going to float away.  Then while I awaited to feel one of these incredible sensations, she said she was going to put away "these pointy objects" (needles, etc.) ...then she said "oops! I dropped a pointy thingy".  I laughed again.  THAT WAS THE LAST I REMEMBERED OF IT.

Then during the surgery, my eyes opened slowly, and I heard the Doc say, "you're doing very well, Audrey".  And I remember thinking, "what are you talking about? YOU'RE doing all the work!  Then my eyes shut on me again.

It took me a while in the recovery room, though.  I was quite woozy!  Another nurse took me out to the cab in a wheelchair!  Wicked, huh!?

Overall, QUITE AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!
Poor graphics, I know.  But you can still see my chipmunk cheeks! hehe!  And this is only the end of DAY 1!
My family doctor would be so pleased to see me like this.  She always complains how pale and sunken my face is.
Look how long my hair is!  WooHoo!
