Video games back during the Nintendo Entertainment System era a.k.a. NES era was a real big time for game developement, however one of the games that caught my attention was the Rockman series. Jumping around controlling the blue bomber shooting at all the evil creations of Dr.Wily was alot of fun, especially because you got a reward after defeating each robot master.
The music was some of the best tunes I had ever heard in the time, sometimes I would just replay a stage just to hear the same songs over and over again. I really feel that the Rockman series was not only driven by its gameplay, but the music just got better as the titles went on.
My personal favorites are the soundtracks of Rockman/Megaman 2 and 7. Both were very important to the series, because in Rockman 2 the graphics, gameplay, and music were all really well done and upgraded from the first game... its also the title that introduced the password system, so you wouldnt have to play the whole game in one sitting. Rockman 7 is when Rock/Mega Man finally got his chance to go on the SNES and once again the whole game got better from all of its predecessors.
