| Octave's history | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| In 1996, Ames Morton-Winter, Emily Miller, and Bea Wallace--our founding members--were singing in a mixed a cappella group called Free Range Cattle when they had the idea to form an all-female group. After a round of auditions, Octave was born. Although Octave has undergone many changes in its membership, it has continued the tradition upon which it was founded: Music and Fun. For snapshots of past members and concerts, check out the Photo Gallery For snippets of our sound, go to our Song List. |
