Shelby and Rachel started this site way back in 2002 as a little way of showing off Shelby's fantastic expression-ful (is that a word?) works of literary art. Most of her work has a family-based plot that shows the reader just how important family (and friend) ties are. Like Steven Sommers has been quoted to say; The Mummy is one of the rare movies that shows a family with loving parents and a good kid (well... not actually quoted, but something along those lines.) ;)
Well, almost a year old, the site is reaching its zenith of popularity, there are more and more people coming here everyday and need I remind you that it's for Shelby's stories which she never fails to amaze the reader with. Now surprises, new plot twists and always a nice little fluffy interaction between the main character.
Well I've officially run out of things to say (for now) so with no further adiue, please enjoy your visit, leave your mark in our guestbook (or TagBoard) and express your appreciation to the tireless efforts of Shelby.

I guess me writing so many stories got me interested in wanting a site of my own, So this site came about because if I remember correctly Rachel said she would make me one. At first it was about the Triplets then she did one that had all my stories in it.

As for my interest in writing, well that started when I got my first Diary when I was about 14. I mostly wrote about my day and boring stuff like that. Then in High School I got interested in this show called Beauty and the Beast and had a friend who had Fanzines of that show. She only had a few so I started to make up fan stories based on those. They were none that I sold and she has most of the notebooks with the early stories in them.

Mummy came along, and I am ashamed to say I only saw it once in the theaters. I bought it when it came out on Video, then I found out they were going to do the second movie and I started to write about what I thought would happen. By then I knew that they were going to be married and have a child, a boy, so I made up stuff.

When The Mummy Returns finally came out I saw it I think about 38 times in the theater. The people at the theater knew me by name and were placing bets on whether or not I would show up, so that was funny. I knew about fanfiction.net by then, and I found The Mummy Fanfic but wasn't happy because there really wasn't a whole lot about Alex at the time, so I started writing, and to this day my brain keeps coming up with all these new ideas, thus you visitors to my sit get the creative end of my mind.
