COMPETITORS NOTE - Check with Matt (0409062275) before the race regarding surf conditions and wind direction for this Venue If there is a strong head wind (northerly) the race will start and finish at Greenmount with a triangle course.

Event 3 - Well what a race, heaps of wind and ocean swells but all in the wrong direction. Yes it was a northerly and we had to run a triangle course at greenmount, however everyone enjoyed the course best as possible. Once again a good turnout for the race and it was great to see some new and old faces again. Jonathan Bloxsom and his mates from Hamilton were there. The Brisbane and NthCliffe clubs had good numbers which is always pleasing to see. Some good results and some close racing for the rough water as the results below show. Outstanding performance by Wayne Smith for making the top 3 Overall for the first time I believe.
