Pursuing Academic Success (PAS) is still a fairly new club, founded in the 2004-2005 school year. In an effort to increase SOL scores as well as students' grades, Oakton High School students tutor children at Mosby Woods Elementary year-round. One-on-one help creates a better understanding of the material gone over in class to ensure that no student is left behind.

Students tutor on Wednesdays from 2:20-2:50 PM. They are assigned to a specific child and/or a specific group of students from the kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade classes. It is required that tutors attend at least 15 tutoring sessions throughout the school year. Tutors may either drive themselves, get a ride with their assigned carpool,a friend, a parent, or walk. However their mode of transportation, tutors must be at Mosby Woods Elementary by 2:20.
