Teen Scene

  Welcome to the young adult section of the library.  My name is Diane Masaki and I’m the Young Adult Librarian here at Aiea Library.  If you have any questions or comments about the Young Adult section please contact me online or at the library.  Part of my job is to read some of the books I buy for the library.  To see what I have read recently, click here.

We had a successful summer reading program this summer, with 70 of you signed up.  We had a special program featuring slam poet Kealoha, and 25 people showed up!  

We are currently recruiting student helpers.  You have to be able to work 19 hours per week during the school year and 40 hours per week during vacation.  We do accept volunteers, but only those who need to put in over 40 hours.
