She's a high school student (18 yrs old) and has a younger sister named Quinn. Her parents (Helen and Jake) are strange- one is obsessed with their job and the others is a pathetic business man and a skitzo. Her sister is obsessed with looking the best and having the best (maybe thats why she changes her boyfriend more often than her hair tie. Anyhoo, thi site is about Daria... NOT Quinn... or the weird parents.
Her best friend, Jane, is an artist- much like myself. But I can relate to both the characters quite well- Im smart, well read, withdrawn, artistic, opinionated, outgoing, and so much more. Daria once had a crush on Jane's older brother, Trent... but then she got over him. Now she's going out with that new hot guy, Tom... he's cool.((I forgot to mention that Jane was dating Tom first, then they broke up... tricky story...))
Okay... Canada sucks... no, just YTV. They first had Daria on at 8pm on Thursdays; then it was Fridays. That change was okay.. it's didnt conflict with anything (at first only DBZ on Fridays, but then they changed it to nine.)... then they put her on at nine- WTF!!! Dark Angel! What the hell was I supposed to do?!?! Then they changed it once again... this time to 9.30 pm. That means I would miss out on the last half of Dark Angel and the whole show of South Park (call me a degenerate, call me pathetic... I dont care. I like watching it because of it's stupidity factor). Later (as in a few months later), they changed it to 10.30pm - KICKIN'!! There was nothing on at that time, so it helped me to stay awake and sheit. but... now they are pissing me off... they keep pusing it further and further into the next morning! Now it comes on at 12 am!! GOD!! �.�### so fustrating. I end up falling asleep on the couch and then waking up at 3 in th morning... watching Kablam (I used to like it... when I went to Jersey and was a kid and used to watch it after dinner...). I give up. Ther was another cool cartoon show by MTV- Downtown. That show was really cool... if you remember it or have ever heard of it, then send me a line.... yeah.
