Who are the Zapp Staff members?
The Zapp staff is made up of volunteers who wish to help ZappChat by
offering their time for free. All staff members have been approved by Zapp
administration and have been trained in their respective areas.

Zapp staff is divided into two key committees, technical and chat protection.

Technical - this committee was designed to train volunteers on the technical
side of ZappChat. These volunteers have been trained to assist users with
technical issues that may be involved in ZappChat, such as log in troubles,
firewalls, etc. These members are designated with an [zTech] following their
name. These staff members can usually be found in the technical support chat.

Chat Protection - this committee was designed to train volunteers on how to
moderate chat rooms. These volunteers move from chat to chat making sure
that all the users are obeying the chat rules and terms of use. These
members are the "police" of the network and are often referred to as "system
operators". These members uphold the law in ZappChat. If you are having
troubles with another user or someone is breaking the rules, please notify a
system operator! These staff members are designated with an @ symbol in front of their name.

Can I Become a Zapp Staff Member?
Yes, anyone can apply to become a staff member! You will need to be a
registered user to become a staff member. If you wish to apply to become a
staff member, email [email protected] and include your name, your
registered nick name, and the committee you wish to be in (listed above).
Our administration will then email you a survey to complete and mail back.
This survey will test your abilities and lets us know if you are right for
the job. Please allow up to 5 days for a response.

Who are the people with an -Zapp at the end of their name?
These are the ZappChat administrators. These are basically the leads
(managers) for all the staff members.

How do I report a staff member for breaking the rules?
If you know of a staff member who has broken any of the rules or terms of
ZappChat, please report them to [email protected]. Please include
your nick name, the staff members nick name, the chat room in which the
incident occurred, date and time, and details of the incident.
