surface to find her elder twin sister. The penalty for failure was death,
but while upon the surface she came to admire the way of life she saw there,
and no longer wished to return to the Underdark.
Fearing death at the hands of her own family she sought out Drizzt Do'Urden for protection and guidance. To show her commitment to living the ways of the surface she destroyed her own snake whip, sustaining a scar upon her left forearm.
She has found her twin sister, and made amends with her. Together they have joined Drizzt's motley band of outcasts, and Larenil studies diligently to strengthen her inate magical abilities and to perfect her abilities with her adamantine sword.
