to the police, firefighters, emergency personnel and
volunteers who have given so untiringly of themselves
and for their courage in the face of tragedy during

· The Skies were blue, the people were gay
· The morning’s rush hour, to work people went
· To care for their families, the money to be spent
· Out of the sky approaching New York
· Nostradamus said “the people of York”
· The future of America, albeit bright and clear
· A dent to our Nation would soon appear
· Out of the sky arose such a thunder
· Planes loaded with fuel, A Madman Funded
· The roar of the Jet engines as it passed overhead
· So many lives unaware of the impending dread
· As we looked to the sky with complete disbelief
· The North Tower shuddered our Hearts skipped a beat
· The majestic tower engulfed with fire and flame
· New York responded, we all feel the pain
· As people departed the tower in haste
· The fireman and cops entered the place
· So gallant and brave, Hero’s they are
· The horror was just beginning, attacked from afar
· They arose on the stairs, search and rescue by fame
· They continued to search despite their pain
· As the Oath they once took, to serve and save lives
· I cannot help, but to reflect and I start to cry
· Saving lives as Fireman and Police always do
· The South tower has been attack, this cant be True!
· As we gasped in horror and then for breath
· Our lives changed forever, what senseless deaths!
· Continuing to fight the flames and the smoke
· Into the towers filled with concrete smoke
· The world stood still and watched in horror
· As Cowards danced at America’s squalor
· Mayhem, death and despair all surround us
· The once mighty Twin Towers buckled and fell around us
· Although New York on bended knee
· Will rise again as we are Free
· As families unite, we all hug and Kiss
· Within our hearts you will always be missed
· Hero’s come and some may fall
· Remember always, heroes are we all
· May all who have perished know this to be true!
· The Red White and Blue shall avenge you
· As you enter God’s land and are finally at Rest
· Our flag raised Proud our Country put to a test
· We shall prevail, this Red White and Blue
· May God keep us strong we will always love you!
