2) Helmets are required for riders under 18 yrs. when mounted and recommended for all riders. Some helmets are available at the booth. Please return them at the end of the day.
3) Saddles and riding boots or shoes with heels are required. No sneakers, flat soled shoes, saddle pads or bareback riding is allowed. Riding sneakers with heels are OK. APPROPRIATE ATTIRE REQUIRED!
4) There is NO riding double on club grounds during gymkhanas.
5) Riders ride at their own risk and are responsible for all damages done by their horses.
6) Once you are in the ring and start your run, there will be NO reruns for defective equipment. CHECK YOUR TACK!
7) No abuse of horses will be tolerated. Those involved will be asked to leave with no refunds.
8) Anyone whose horse can not be controlled in or out of the ring and may cause injury will be asked to leave with no refunds. There is NO CANTERING outside of the ring.
9) No obnoxious behaviour or PROFANITY will be allowed, as this is a family affair.
10) NWRDC prohibits the use of alcoholic beverages in any form by participants or spectators on the club grounds during the events.
11) Final decision is up to the ring judge. If no ring judge is present the gymkhana committee will be queried. If you have a disagreement, it must be discussed BEFORE the next event.
12) It is the responsibility of the rider to make sure the ring is ready and the ring crew are out of the way before they start their run.
13) All riders are expected to be on deck when they are called. Riders are to be at the gate by the third call or they will be disqualified from that event.
14) You will be disqualified for breaking the pattern or knocking over equipment. No touching of the equipment , if it is not in the pattern.
15) DOGS, or other animals other than horses, are not allowed on the gymkhana grounds during the events. This is a safety issue and you will be asked to take your animal home.
16) We will start the day with a Parade of Flags carried by participants. The American Flag, State Flag and Club Flag will lead the parade followed by anyone else who wishes to ride. Please be saddled up and ready to ride by 9:45.
1) We will be starting the games at 10 am sharp!
2) Price Changes: You may still pre-register, but there is no discount and you pay at the event.

Extra entrees pay the regular price. Family means Mother &/or Father with children.

3) Registrations will be held TWICE. First thing in the morning before the Parade of Flags begin and again, after the 3rd event!
4) We will be giving a sixth place ribbon in all divisions. If you do not want ANY of your ribbons, please donate them back to us for future use.
5) A horse can be ridden by any number of riders as long as the riders register at the appropriate times,
6) If you know you have disqualified, PLEASE leave the ring. If you are told that you have disqualified, PLEASE leave the ring. (This is a time saver!)
7) If you do not pick up your ribbon when your name is called, it will be hung on the fence until the next event. If you
do not pick up your ribbon by the end of the day, it will be donated back to be used again in a future event.
