Physical Description- The Shadow stands 6'7 and
weighs in at 290 lbs. He has
a broad, muscled form, marred
only by one long scar on his
side. He has long, dark hair
and usually keeps his face
painted. Outside the ring,
he is never without his black
trenchcoat. Inside the ring,
he wears black pants and a
black top, with black leather
boots. Any time, anywhere,
he always wears gloves.
Background- The Shadow is a man without a
country, so to speak. He's
felt that way ever since he
was a young child. Playing
hide and go seek in his home
saved his life and destroyed
it, when, from his hiding
place, he saw his parents
both brutally gunned down.
His father apparently
expected such to happen and
had included in his will that
the young son be sent to live
with his uncle, an older
veteran who could be
considered a master in the
martial arts.
The Shadow lived with his
uncle until he was almost
twenty, learning, sharpening
and focusing the skills he
had until he had become an
incredible fighting machine.
Yet, he had attained peace
with himself. Until tragedy
struck again. The Shadow
found his uncle brutally
murdered one cold night, and
his mind gave way. The Dark
Man hunted down those that
had killed the old master and
killed them himself with his
bare hands.
From that point, the Dark Man
became the world's premiere
assasin, never using a gun,
but always being effective.
The only jobs ever to go
wrong were the ones either
double booked or were
attempts at traps. The
Shadow charged incredible
fees for these attacks and is
famously wealthy. But not
happy.
One fateful night, he
realized what he had become.
He was not what he was raised
to be. He was not what his
parents or his old master
would have wanted. So, he
decided to turn away from his
profession. As a man that
kept incredible
documentation, he contacted
the Federal Bureau of
Investigation and gave them
copies of all of his
records. Who, what, where
and why hits had gone down
and who had hired him, along
with any other information
the Man in Black had. In
return for this information,
the federal government
granted him immunity from the
murders he committed.
However, he did not have
immunity from the memories or
the dreams.
The Shadow turned to
wrestling to start over.
Yet, in the midst of it all,
he still uses the same skills
that turned him into the
world's top assasin. Those
very skills brought him to
success in the nWEFF,
attaining him the World Title
in a few short weeks. Now,
he must try to go on,
battling old memories that
haunt him to this day and
trying to keep the darker
side of him at bay. A side
that has now begun to rear
its head...

Entrance- The lights lower. There are
faint sounds...
A bell rings and heavy guitar
riffs begin. The bell rings
and the riffs become more
intense. Finally, a wordless
roar cuts through the air
and "Sick of Life" by
Godsmack begins to play.
A series of red spotlights
come on, pointing to the
stage where The Shadow steps
out, his trenchcoat swirling
around him. He walks down
the ramp, bathed in the red
light, his eyes intent and
his face impassive. He
climbs the steps slowly,
pauses and steps through the
ropes. He removes his
trehchcoat and tosses to
ringside as the lights return
to normal.
