| In a shocking move, the Indianapolis Racers have sent David Aebischer to their fram squad in Tampa today in order to eliviate their salary cap situation. Due to Aebischers age, he did not have to clear waivers. Dan Cloutier, who is only making $900,000 this year was re-called from Tampa in Aebischers plce. |

| The once 'future' of the Racers franchise in net, Aeboscher has faultered of late. SO much so that they were forced to bring back and aging Tom Barrasso because they did not feel he was ready to take the next step. Ever since the departure of former GM, Ed Swan, Abyy has found himself with very few allies in Indy. 'Im very disappointed and angry with the situation' said Aebischer, who has only played 4 minutes in a relief stint this season. 'I feel like maybe a change is in store for both sides' Dan Cloutier has played well for the Racers in past stints with the big club when being called up to replace injured parties in the past. Cloutier has been golden in Tampa as well this season where he is sporting a 1.80 GAA. This moves, and Aebischers words, have led to much trade speculation in Indy. |
