IQRA': More than just a Book Club

Whether you are looking for book recommendations,  discussions, presentations, or simply unsure on how to spend your Saturdays, the CFS IIUM IQRA’ Readers' Club is a great start!

Every Saturday, the IQRA’ Club invites you to immerse yourself in literary enrichment in a substantive three hour book digest with fellow bibliophiles. Established in early June 2013 as a joint effort between CFS IIUM Library Department and the CFS IIUM Language Department, IQRA’s mission is to provide timely information about fiction and nonfictions for ravenous and omnivorous readers within the CFS IIUM community besides cultivating bright torchbearers of the future Ummah.

Read, Learn and Evolve

Our book collection covers over 94,000 titles, a massive amount of words to be covered in one's lifetime. Hence our IQRA' sessions focuses on the quality of reading instead of quantity - because the man who doesn't read good books has no advantage over a man who doesn't read whatsoever. The IQRA' team has always been dedicated in realizing the platform for CFS IIUM students to outlive their potentials at this stage of their life.
