fans, it gives me once again especially great pleasure to welcome you to
the greatest sporting event on the planet Vexillium - the Vexillium Cup!
After the successes of Christiana-Davenport '98 and Whitlam-Zartania '99,
the Cup finally comes to the New Continents, and what more fitting venue
could we have than the cradle of the IVEFA itself. The trifecta host
Dominions of Westria, Deucoland, and Niokolo Koba, known as "Nuropia",
will no doubt provide the latest and greatest thrills in our beloved game,
and will go down in soccer history.
48 nations have once again entered this exciting competition, the best players in the world are here to measure themselves against each other... hundreds of thousands will be attending the games in the fine stadia that have been selected to host these matches, hundreds of millions will be watching enthusiastically in front of their televisions all around the globe. There simply is no greater spectacle in the world than the Vexillium Cup!
298 Champions Christiana and 299 Champions Whitlam will once again compete, against the likes of the two-time finalists Lexicon Islands, and the home favorites, Westria, as well as many many more terrific teams, all of which could become the next champions. Many more teams will be making their Vexillium Cup debuts... once again a sign that our sport more than any other grows in popularity all over Vexillium every year.
We are here to celebrate our passion, the game we all love... welcome to the biggest party on the planet!

Welcome
to Nuropia 300! As Chancellor of Westria, it gives me special pleasure
to welcome you all to the greatest sporting event on the planet Vexillium,
the Vexillium Cup! I am honored to be representing the three host
nations in this official greeting, together with the HoSts of the Dominions
of Deucoland and Niokolo Koba, respectively, Mssrs. Pedro Maria Krank and
Chef Libre M'butu Dieye-Diop.
Our three nations will embody the spirit of this competition once again, as have Christiana-Davenport and Whitlam-Zartania before us - a chance to further international understanding and peace through the universal medium of sports, and especially, through the most popular of all sports, soccer. The people of our region have longed for the opportunity to witness the Vexillium Cup first hand - no other region of Vexillium is more passionate about soccer, and the day has come where we will be able to see the best players in the world, not just in the Schnysna Superiorship, but also playing for their own national pride, for the ultimate trophy in soccer.
For the host nations, it will be a great opportunity to showcase their teams, and I am particularly looking for Westria to finally take the most coveted trophy. Now is as good a chance as ever to take advantage of the home field, I know our fans will be out by the tens of thousands to support the Diamonds, as will be our frields in Deucoland and Niokolo Koba for their respective teams. We hope that this will be the best Vexillium Cup ever, enjoy it, and best of luck to all the teams.
