Dear Punkin,

As I sit here making a page just for you...I'm reminded once again how special you are. You have such wisdom beyond your years. You truly are, one incredible little boy, and Mommy loves you more than you'll ever know.
Thank you...for choosing me to be your Mommy. You've taught me so much so soon, and I know there will be more lessons ahead of me. Your a good teacher sweetheart.

We make a good team, you and I. You and I share so much, that others don't understand. I'm honored to be your Mommy, and it's a priviledge watching you grow and mature into such a brave and courageous little man.

Mommy made this website to share with others, the courage and bravery both you and I possess. To show people out there, that we can survive and thrive. You and I are proof of that. I hope one day, I can read you this letter when your older...and show you how proud of you I am. For the journey you've taken to heal, and all the hard work you put into your healing. It's not easy sweetie, Mommy knows firsthand. But you did it! and graduated from Play therapy last week. I am so proud of you honey. My brave little warrior. Sleep beautiful sweetheart.

I made this page for my "Punkin" in tribute to his bravery and courage. For such a little boy, he's shown such bravery far beyond his years. Punkin disclosed his abuse the weekend of my 30th Birthday. He was 4. The predator, my father.

UPDATE: Punkin is now 6, and has just graduated from Kindergarten:) He's doing well considering his circumstances, thanks to his therapists, and a great support system. *I'm proud of you Punkin* xoxo

The one thing about Abusers is this: They may take your trust, they may take your love and admiration. But the one thing they can't take? Is YOUR spirit. Punkin and I are proof of that. Never ever forget that *s*
