Skyrocket aka Sky here and I have just moved to my Forever home. Here is my journal of adventures in my new home.

MARCH 2006
I made some progress this month! I went out of the door all by myself; Mom didn't have to carry me out to the door to go outside. All she said was, "Lets go outside" and I just ran right out! Weeee!! Oh, and I discovered that I really like belly rubs. I decided to show my Mom my belly so she could rub my belly and it was great. I didn't want her to stop.
FEBRUARY 2006
Oh, boy do I like to go for walks!!! Mom took me out with her and Poppy and Nikki when they walk and it was so much fun!! I get so excited when Poppy comes home from work because I know it is time for a walk. I'm even brave enough to go down the hall to have Mom put my harness on.
JANUARY 2006
Guess what? I went for my first walk with my Mom. It was a sort of warm day (45 degrees - not bad for around here) and sunny so Mom and I went up the street. There were a lot of new smells to check out. I really enjoyed my walk. I hope she takes me again.
DECEMBER 2005
I have been in my new home a month now and I am making great progress. I am starting to come out my crate on my own now. I love to be with my Mom. One night she took off her sock in front of my crate and I took it into my crate with me. I really like to sit on the couch next to her and take a nap.
NOVEMBER 4, 2005
Skyrocket here and I have arrived in Connecticut. My trip here took around 4 days. I finally met my new Mom and my big sister Nikki.
I am not quite sure about things here so I will hang out in my crate. There is a nice yard so I can run around the back yard. But, it's kind of cold here...not warm like the place where I used to live.
On Thanksgiving morning, I came over to Mom's bed and reached my paws up to her so she could put me on the bed with her. I thought I'd run around on the rug next to the bed for a while first though. Mom finally picked me up and put me on the bed with her and Nikki. Mom petted me until I curled up and went to sleep. I like sleeping on the bed. My Mom lets me sleep on the bed with her and Nikki now. It's so nice and warm there. |
