We have known Dave for a long time.  We purchased our bikes from him and we met back up with him when my boys started racing.  The difference Dave has made is UNBELIEVEABLE! Not to mention how much I have learned from him. Dave is very knowledgeable and my boys think he is SOOO AWESOME! He has made motocross fun for them and me.

Motocross is one of those sports where you can ride every day for 8 hours but if you don't have the instruction and tips for proper riding techniques you will never be fast and ride to your potential. Whether racing or just riding for fun, to ride a high-performance motocross bike you must have the knowledge about proper techniques. Before I got into motocross, if you told me there was such a thing as riding classes and personal instructors I would have thought you were joking.  Now that I have been around the sport for a couple of years I can honestly say that riding lessons make a HUGE difference in not only looking like you know what you're doing and going fast, but also in one's enjoyment of the sport.

I am 16 years old and I have been riding with Dave for about two years.  He is a very likeable guy and I enjoy riding with him. I have benefitted from his expertise in several ways: I have more confidence on the bike now that I know the proper riding techniques. I am also a much safer rider because I am no longer all over the track being a danger to myself and others.  AND I don't crash as often! This is also due to what Dave has taught me about proper bike setup and maintenance. When I got my first motocross bike (KTM 125SX) I had no idea what I was doing because the only bike I had ridden was a Honda XR200. Dave helped my improve my riding techniques to suit a real motocross bike and now I am ready to enter some races. I would definitely recommend his services to anyone wanting to learn how to ride motocross or just fine tune their skills.

My six-year old son, Andrew, has now been taking lessons from Dave for about a month. What a tremendous improvement! He just started riding in February '02. Dave has done a remarkable job with him on his riding techniques. I can already see vast improvements. I have watched Dave for awhile now and he is really great with the kids. He is very knowledgeable of the sport and always puts safety first. I would highly recommend Dave Harris to anyone looking to improve on their motocross skills.  Thanks Dave!!

Dave Harris has give riding lessons to myself and my 14 year old son, Ben. His methods are very sound and always emphasize safety. When I bought a new bike he spent considerable time helping me set up the suspension for my body weight and riding style. It really made a dramatic improvement in the bikes' handling. My son changed to a 2-stroke race bike recently and Dave helped him in ways to handle the vast increase in power and performance. I have been incorporating Dave's techniques in my rides lately and I haven't crashed in a good while--so the techniques MUST be working!

Thanks again for working with Matthew: he had a great time and learned a lot. I never thought my 6-year old would be railing the turns and nailing the jumps like that. The standup attack position with the legs snug against the bike really helped his confidence and speed. I was blown away to see him airing it out on the step-down jump on his little PW80. Time for a KTM65SX, or at least a new shock and higher fork oil level on the PW.

I also got a lot out of watching you teach Matt, and am now trying to break old habits and practice new ones. I enjoyed the opportunity to watch your speed and lines on the MX track, especially the jumps. Thanks  for the tips on the first, 45' double on the new section- I never would have attempted (and repeatedly cleared it) without your advice.  I also found that with my leg forward (in the turns)  I could really blitz into the big berms with a very high entry speed and get a strong drive through the mid/top of 3rd gear to the tabletops. I easily overjumped all 3 tabletops, even the first one.

Matt wore his (NOMXA) T-shirt today and wants to take another lesson. We just need to get the shock for his PW upgraded and start using 3rd gear on the straights and he will be ready for learning more skills.  -Thanks again.
