Congratulations to:

� Ex � NUIG players Suzanne Kelly and S�le Nash, who won All Ireland Titles at Senior and Junior level respectively in September.
Suzanne now holds senior medals from 1999, 2000 and 2001.

� Annette McGeeney, who played at centre back on the Roscommon Junior Ladies Football team which defeated Kildare in the All Ireland Final earlier this year.

� The NUIG Ladies Football team who won the Connaght League Title on Thursday November 22nd by defeating Sligo IT.

� Lourda Kavanagh, who recently received the NUI, Galway camogie scholarship, and to trainer Shane McClearn who also received a hurling scholarship at the same event held in the Aula Maxima.
Olivia Broderick, winner of an Ashbourne medal in 1994 with UCG, is part of a committee, set up by Cumann Cam�ga�ochta na nGael (CcnaG), to plan events to commemorate the centenary year of CcnaG in 2004.

Olivia is joined on the committee by other inter-county stars, both past and present, such as Therese O �Callaghan (Cork), Ann Downey (Kilkenny), Germaine Noonan (Dublin), Jane Monaghan (Armagh) and Eithne Duggan (Cork).

NUIG defeated Athlone I.T by two points, in the Ashbourne Cup Qualifier on Saturday February 2nd in Dangan.
The club is hosting a fundraising "Popstars" competition in The Hole in the Wall on Tuesday Feb. 5th. There are  excellent cash prizes to be won. Lines cost only one �, and can be bought from any panel member.
NUIG were defeated for the third year running by Waterford IT on a scoreline of 2:10 to 2:08. Congratulations to Lourda Kavanagh, Deirdre Murphy and Susan Regan who were selected for the Combined Colleges.
Congratulations to Lourda Kavanagh and Caroline Murray who were awarded scholarships recently, and to Lizzy Glennon who received a bursary.
