Contests...Winners will be chosen by their own peers ... those who enter will select the winner by consensus. . All will be awarded prizes.� Because the winner is always something of a subjective issue - even in sports -- is the winner the one with the most points? -- what happened to play for the fun of it .. and be a good sport .. " this having to win is something of a cast back to animal competition." The selected winner should acknowledge that the feeling level, the emotional tone, should be the predominant element. Our steering committee for the contest will include many members of the youth community.

Music contest -- which music best bring out the Fuller Emerson Themes -- attention on uncovering the cosmic level on the music.

Art Contest� -- Visual Mixed media, sculpture, animation, computer art, all the F-E themes - again winner selected by peers.

Dance Contest -- choreography expression costume, cultural themes all that bring out the cosmic tapestry of Dance.

Poetry /Poetic Prose -- not just poetry, but prose which has rhythm, rithem, some rhyme and beats and pulses is also invited .. Again, not judges, and especially the feeling level is important quality of entries.

Lectures -- Guest lectures will keynote this event and invite others to join it ... the forum on Fuller-Emerson these in American life.

Workshops -- Unique to this event is the 48-hour Film Shorts Filmmakers are invited to produce a film in 48 hours --starting Fri. night and showing the film at on the following evening on Monday night. Their film will be start to edit to finish shot in 2 days and shown the following day. All are invite to review the films - these films are the linked together to be web cast - and distributed nationally to other linked film events.
