OK so now u want to advance your timing do you?
first of all, what is the purpose of advancing timing...and why would you want to do it?
well it's easy. advancing timing will give u better high end power and it's free HP!
Be aware though, that if u advance too much, u will bend your valves and fuck up your engine =) Since honda's are not non-interferance engines, u CAN over advance the car. and not only that, but with advanced timing, u must use higher octane gas as your car will be more prone to pinging
Anyways...so how do you do it? first of all, locate the distributor on the car...u know, that little black thing sticking out of the engine with the spark plug wires coming out of it...yea that thing. Now loosen the 3 or 4 bolts holding the distributor assembly. Once you have that done, turn the dizzy(distributor) towards the intake cam(or intake manifold if u dont know where the cam is!! or if u only have one cam...). ONLY TURN IT A FEW DEGREES! if u go turny happy, u will over advance the car and the valves will be opening while your piston is going up!! what will happen then? well u can either bend the valves or punch a nice pretty hole in your piston =D anyways, that my friend, is advanced timing. be aware though, that u will lose low end power. it is the cost of getting some more high end hp!
