A few hours later the party was still going strong. The crowd buzzed with the news that Justin and Kenzie were now an item. They walked around together hand in hand dancing, laughing and talking to others. No one could imagine a cuter couple. Every once in a while Justin would whisper something in Mackenzie's ear and her face would light up. It seemed that everyone was happy for the two except Jeff who stood at the back of the room. Muttering to himself he picked up his cell phone, stepped outside and dialed a number on the phone. He quickly checked to make sure no one was in the hall before speaking, "Hi, yes, this is Jeff. Plans changed. I want you here in one week." He quickly shoved the phone in to his pocket and went back to the party not knowing that a newly released suspect known as Frizz had been listening to every word he said and was determined to find out what was going on, why she was framed, and by who.

For the next week Mackenzie and Justin had been sitting on top of the world. Nothing was a hassle for them anymore. If their day had been bad they would just think of each other and know that the other one would be there at the end of the day no matter what. Mackenzie's album, "Here to Stay" had been released was already in the top ten. Everything was going perfect until today...
Mackenzie woke up in her hotel room with a start. Something wasn't right. She quickly got showered and dressed and ran downstairs to the breakfast room that had been reserved for all the tour members. She quickly opened the door and saw Justin and they guys all sitting around a table talking and laughing. She calmed down when she saw that everything appeared fine.
"Hey, Girly. I saved you a seat." Justin said pointing to the seat next to him.
"Thanks, J." She said to him as she sat down.
"What's wrong?" Lance asked as he took a bite of his bagel.
"Nothing, I just had a weird feeling...I don't know..." as soon as the words escaped her mouth she saw a piece of food fly from Joey's side of the table and hit JC's head as he was reading the paper.
"What was that for?" JC asked putting the paper down.
"That is for tripping me at the show last night!" he said
"Oh, you are such a baby!" Joey said
The bickering continued for a few seconds until Justin saw someone familiar standing in the corner of the room talking to other people. He stared in shock trying to make sure it was exactly who he thought it was. "J, what's wrong?" Joey said as he followed his stare and saw what he was looking at, "Is that....No...Is that Cara?" he said
"It is guys. What the hell is she doing here?" JC asked
Just as the words left his mouth the girl walked over to the table. Mackenzie looked as confused as ever while Justin was still trying to react. "Hey, guys. I haven't seen you all in forever! What's going on?" she asked
"Nick!!" Justin yelled as he stared at her
"Justin, you look soooo good! How are you, baby? I really wished we kept in touch a little bit better."
"NICK!" Justin yelled again.
"Cara, I think you better get out of here, no one wants you here so leave." JC said
"What's going on?" Mackenzie asked confused
"Oh, you must be the one and only Mackenzie Hope. I'm Cara Montar, Justin's girlfriend." she said bitterly.
"Justin?" Mackenzie asked painfully
"NICK!!!!!" he yelled once again, "Cara, I don't know who you are trying to pull but you are NOT my girlfriend. You passed that opportunity a long time ago and NEVER again will I make the mistake of falling for you. Please leave, NOW." Justin said firmly
"Justin, baby? What are you talking about?" She said
It was then that Mackenzie realized who Cara was. She remembered from the day she and Justin had talked about her.
"Justin?" Mackenzie said again.
"Mackenzie, please you have to believe me...."
"I do, J, I do." she said
Just then Nick walked over carrying a clipboard.
"I need to talk to you." Justin said
Justin pulled Nick aside, "WHAT is she doing here? How did she get in?"
"She's on the list, J. Jive must have hired her. There is nothing I can do right now. I'll talk to Johnny about it. For now, you are just going to have to live with it. You know Johnny is away right now...so I'm not sure if I can still contact him. Just relax. We are all here. She can't do anything." Nick said as Cara came up to them
" I was just telling Mackenzie here all about you." Cara said
"Excuse me? Mackenzie KNOWS all about me... you're the one that knows nothing." Justin said pointing a finger at her.
Mackenzie could see that Justin was becoming emotionally drained and she was beginning to understand why it took so long for him to open up to her. She could see him breaking down inside and she knew it needed to stop. "J, baby..." Kenzie said as she walked up from behind him and wrapped her arms around his waist, "How about we go up stairs and forget about...HER." Mackenzie said as she placed soft kisses all over his neck.
Justin's face turned red as he looked down at her. "Umm....ye..sure...I'll...yea...let's uh...lets go."
Mackenzie almost laughed at how cute looked but knew that it would ruin her plan. "Come on, hott stuff." she said as she took his hand and led him out of the hall where she burst out laughing.
"What?" Justin said, "What??"
"The look on your face was soooo funny!" She said as she continued to laugh
"Hey! Be quiet! I wasn't expecting you to do that!It...it surprised me." Justin said
"Yeah, I could tell...in more ways than one!" She said as she laughed
"I think you've been around Joey too much, Girly! Come on...let's go..." he said
"Go where?" she asked
"Anywhere but in there." Justin said, "Thanks for getting me out of that room. I can't be around her. She has GOT to get off this tour."
"I know, J. She will be off this tour...it's only a matter of time." Mackenzie said as she took his hand and they began to walk down the hallways of the posh hotel.
"I don't know why she is here, Kenzie, and I hate that she is." Just in said a little while later, "She'll lie and do what ever she can to make you believe the things she says about me Mackenzie." He stopped and stepped in front of her, "Please promise me that you won't believe anything she says."
"Do you even need to ask? I promise you, Justin." Mackenzie sincerely.
"Great." Justin said before leaning down and kissing her softly.
Mackenzie smile up at him tenderly, "She's here because she wants you back, Justin."
"Yeah, well I definitely don't want her back." he said bitterly, "Kenzie? Do you mind if I just take a walk alone for a little bit?" Justin asked trying not to sound rude to the girl he was falling in love with.
"I completely understand, Justin. Come find me when you are ready, ok?" She gave him a hug and kiss before leaving him alone.
"Mackenzie?" Justin called after her and waited until she turned around, "You mean more to me than anything else in the world." Mackenzie smiled and blew him a kiss. "I was just making sure that you knew." He said before turning around.
