Remember I'll always love you Chapter 1
"Mom thanks for watching little Joshy. You're a lifesaver." Jess said to her mother as she picked up her son.
"Mommy! Mommy! Look at what Auntie Mandy got me." Joshy said with excitement as Jess picked up her 2-year-old.
"What do you have there sweetie?" she asked looking at her son. 'God he looks more and more like his father everyday.' She thought as he pulled out a racecar.
"Wow that's cool. Did we thank Auntie Mandy for it?" Joshy shook his head yes.
"Good boy. I say we go home and on our way we pick up your daddy. What do you say big guy?" Joshy scuiled with happiness.
"I'll see you later mom. Thanks again." Jess gave her mom a kiss on the cheek.
"Jess be careful on the drive to Florida. Bye Joshy, grandma loves you."
Jess sat her son down, he ran towards his grandmother to give her a hug and kiss good-bye. Jess knew it would be a long drive down to Florida from Ohio. Luckily she was planning to stop in Maryland to meet up with her husband. Joshy ran back to his mother. Jess put him in the car and buckled him in.
"Tell dad and Amanda that I love them. I'll call you when I get home. Love ya mom."
Jess said as she drove away. It had been years since she'd been home, home as in Ohio. Jess turned onto 13 and drove a little slow so she could see her home again. Cornfields, children playing, everything was the same. She turned onto 70 and headed towards Zanesville.
"Mommy why do you look sad?" Joshy asked.
"I'm not sad sweetie. See mommy's happy. How 'bout some music?"
"Yeah!" Jess reached down and turned WNCI on.
"Mommy that's daddy!" Joshy yelled as Tearin' Up My Heart came on.
"Jess smiled. "Yes sweetie that's daddy."
"Mommy I miss daddy. Why did he leave us? He still loves us?"
This shocked Jess, she knew one day she would be asked that but didn't expect it to be this soon.
"Honey daddy left cause he had to. Yes he still loves us. Daddy just has a job that requires him to be away from us that is all. It doesn't mean he doesn't love us. Okay?"
"Yeah mommy, I love you. Promise you won't leave me?"
Jess looked down at her son in the passenger seat, "I love you too honey, but one day I will leave you, but remember I will always love you. Now lay back and take a nap. It's a long ride and you want to be wake when we meet up with daddy." Joshy did as he was told and fell fast asleep in no time. "Exactly like his father." she said out loud.
Hours later
"Joshy, honey wake up. We are meeting daddy. Come on sweetie." Jess said as she picked up her son.
She shut the door and walked into the airport and headed towards Gate 57.
"Excuse me miss, you can't go back there." A man said.
Jess turned around to see Lance standing there. "Hey LB why aren't you with the others?" Jess gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
"Why don't I take Josh for you?"
"Thanks. He is getting his father's sleeping habits." Jess said as she handed Joshy over to Lance.
"I can tell. This little man is out like a rock. Exactly like JC. I hope Chris was able to get him awake to get off the plane."
Jess giggled, "You let him fall asleep again on a plane. Lance you would think you would learn."
They walked over to where Justin and Joey were standing. "Hey Jess." Justin said as he gave her a hug.
"Ssh, don't wake up Josh. He is about as grouchy as you are in the mornings."
Jess hugged Joey and looked around, no Chris and no JC. "Where is Chris and JC?"
Justin and Joey started laughing.
"Chris is trying to get JC off the plane." Joey said still laughing.
"Well I guess I will help then. Lance watch Joshy." Lance shook his head.
"Man why don't you ask me to watch him? It's always Lance." Justin whined.
Jess turned around, "It's cause I know Lance won't let anything happen to him."
Lance giggled as Justin started to pout.
Jess walked on the plane, as Chris was about to pour a pitcher of water on JC.
"Wait, let me wake him up." Jess said as she took the pitcher away from Chris.
"Do you think you can get him up?"
Jess smiled, "Sure I can." Jess sat down in the seat next to JC.
"Honey, wake up." She whispered in his ear, and then started to nibble on it. His eyes shot open and he screamed.
"Told you Chris. Morning Sleeping Beauty." Jess said.
JC stood up, "Where am I?" "Dude we're in Maryland, in an airport waitin' on you." Chris said as he turned to walk away.
"Well I guess I'm just chop liver to you." Jess said as she followed Chris.
"Mommy! Look Uncle Lance!" Joshy yelled with excitement.
"Uncle Chris!" Joshy got off of Lance's lap and ran to Chris.
"Hey little man, You been buggin' Lance?" he said as Joshy gave him a hug. He shook his head no.
JC walked off the plane still half out of it, Joshy spotted him. "Daddy!"
Joshy yelled as he ran to JC.
JC picked him up and gave him a hug. "Hey buddy. Miss me?"
Joshy latched on to his father and wasn't about to let go. "I miss you daddy. Don't leave again. I miss you lots when you gone."
Jess went to speak but JC cut her off. "I missed you too. But I can't promise I won't leave again. But I'm home for a few months, how's that?"
Jess was shocked; she was told that he would be home for 2 weeks max. She walked over and hugged them.
"Ah look at the happy family. They make the cutest little family." Joey said.
"Yep now all the need is a little girl to make their family even more perfect."Chris said.
"They've got 3 months to work on it." Justin piped in.
"Work on what?" Jess asked just catching the tail end of the conversation.
"Oh just to make your lil family even more perfect by getting pregnant with a baby girl." Lance answered.
'God how did he know. I haven't told anyone yet.' Jess thought.
"Lance we have Joshy. We can't handle another baby." JC said.
Jess turned pale as she heard that. She was pregant but how was she going to tell JC when he more less said he didn't want anymore right now.
"Jess you feel okay?" JC asked. "Hmm, yeah it's just all the excitement I guess. Don't worry about me. I'll be fine in a few seconds."
Justin knew something was wrong. He had seen that look on her face before.
"Daddy can we go home now?" Joshy asked breaking the silence.
"Yeah buddy if mommy isn't feeling good I'll drive us home. You guys riding with us?"
They all looked at each other, "Um, sure, why not. We can take turns driving if needed." Chris said.
"Your bags are already in the car." Jess said as she tried to stand up, but she fell. Thank goodness Justin was there beside her to catch her.
"Jess are you sure you are alright?" JC asked, he was even more worried now.
"I'm fine. I just got up to fast. Justin will you help me to the car. I feel a little light headed." Justin still holding her shook his head.
"Jess why don't we sit for awhile and then we'll go to the car." Justin said looking concerned.
"Yeah that's a good idea. You two stay here. We'll wait for you in the car." JC agreed.
Justin sat Jess down while the others went to the car. They sat there in silence for a few minutes.
Justin finally broke the silence, "Jess what's wrong? You can tell me."
Jess looked down at the floor; she really didn't want to discuss this with him of all people.
"Jess we've talked about everything before, how could now be any different?"
Jess looked at him, they were close but she didn't feel this was something to talk to him about. "Jess, something is wrong. I can tell. Is it because JC doesn't want anymore children right now?"
Jess was growing paler by the minute. "Justin can we just drop it. Lets go catch up with them."
Jess stood up and saw the blood where she sat. She gasped at the sight.
"Jess I think we need to get you to a hospital NOW!" Justin yelled at one of his bodyguards to call 911.
Jess immediately grabbed her stomach. "No this is not happening! It's not allowed to happen!" Jess screamed. The sharp pains in her stomach grew sharper soon they were unbearable.
