So, where do you want to go for dinner?
Wherever you want, she said.  She was still confused about what had happened, but decided to leave it alone for now.
How about Chinese?
Yum!  I havent had Chinese in forever!
Good, JC said, taking his cell phone out of his pocket.  He pressed a speed dial button, and put the small phone to his ear.
Lonnie, he said.  I am on my way to the new Chinese place.  Okayfive minutes?  Thanks man.
What was that all about? Chrissy asked as JC shut the phone and put it back in the glove compartment.
What?  Oh, nothing.
Chrissy sighed.  Something bothered her about JC.  The way he was so quiet and secretive.  It bugged her that she didnt know what he was doing, or what he was talking about, or why he got so upset when the man on the radio started talking about *NSYNC.  She snapped out of her thoughts as JC pulled the car into the parking lot of the Chinese restaurant.  He looked at his watch before shutting off the engine.  He slipped on a pair of sunglasses and a baseball hat he had hidden in the back seat.
I dont think youll be needing those, Chrissy laughed, taking off his sunglasses.  The sun has already gone down.
I know. He put them back on and flashed Chrissy a smile.  But I like them.
Chrissy shook her head, and followed JC into the restaurant.
