Stillwater Gets Back To Back Winning Doubles

The Stillwater stable has hit top gear and has raced up the ATC standings with another great weekend of racing. Coming from 35th in the rankings 2 weeks back Stillwater is now nicely placed in 5th and only a victory from the top spot. In the space of a fortnight the stable has scored 3 claiming victories, a MSW and with a place and a scoring 6th to amass 70 points and 30 spots on the ladder. And if you look at the results for yourself you will see that even though 3 of the 4 wins were claiming races they were all hard fought victories with both races in Week 1110 coming against full fields and the winning horses have beaten home 41 hopefuls in the 4 races. Stillwater was prominent early in Season 2 before fading slightly at the end to finish a creditable 8th and again looks to be force.

The Milkman Finally Delivers !!!!!

It has taken 60 starts but the Milkman stable finally broke its ATC duck this weekend when the stable scored a upset claiming victory in Malaysia. Sent out to tackle the long journey over the 2800m Gordie's Ids ran a nice race along the rails and after taking the lead mid race ran on strongly to score comfortably by 4 lengths. Claimed a few months back and not setting the world on fire Milkman might have found a niche for the horse which could rack up some more wins for the stable (if he hasnt been claimed) :)... It wasn't the largest ATC victory this year but it was a nice reward for a stable that runs all its horses amongst the competiton tracks.

NSW Residents had 148 runners for week with an overall record of 148-15-18-17 and $285,908 banked at an average of $1931.81 per starter. The Slammin58 stable scored the only Stakes victory this weekend when Madam Lash proved the bookies wrong scoring a win in the $15k Queensland 1117 Stakes as the outsider of the small field. Three starts now for this promising 2yo Filly who has already picked up $28,000 in prizemoney with her 3-2-1-0 record and with this weeks speed of 81 looks ti have a promising future. Congrats to all winners this weekend and hopefully I will have more time to review next weekend. Also still behind with the updates, I have started working on them but not sure when I will get them done, but they will get done when time permits :)...

Essendon, Hawthorn, Port Adelaide and now Richmond all done by the mighty Lions on their way to a 10 game winning streak !!!!! .. Who said the Lions suck :).. hahahaha.. AFL standings up tommorrow :)




The final team for the Vermont "High Noon" Challenge race Week 1131 has been selected. Thanks to the residents that made the effort and provided their input for the selection of the team.
