NSW offers residency for players of Simulated Sports.com Horse Racing Game. Racing Extra has been part of the sim since Week 725 and our main areas are our "Superform" Tipsheet updated with reviews and selections each week (well most weeks) and our Resident Trainers Competition - The Australiasian Trainers Premership (ATC). If you are looking for residency please read on and if you wish to become a member fill in all the parts of the form at the bottom of the page.

1. The Trainers Premership for NSW is the ATC and we have selected tracks that trainers are eligible to run their horses at to earn points. We have tried to stay in the general area with our tracks Aust/Asia and have also included Dubai for another Dirt option. The tracks we use are: Japan (50), Dubai (51), Victoria (53), NSW (54), Queensland (55), Malaysia (56), Hong Kong (60), Tassie (67) and Taiwan (68). Thats 9 tracks, 135 races per week, you only need to place 1 horse in 1 of those races per month to stay an active ATC trainer, to win the competition many more :)

2.     The ATC runs 4 season competitions and an overall Trainer of The Year. Mike donates some Sim bucks to divide for prizes and for the yearly winners we are going to give away some nicely bred horses for winners in the following categories: Overall Trainer Of The Year, Most Wins For The Year and the player with the Highest Earnings For The Year. Seasons run from Season 1 (900-984), Season 2 (991-1075), Season 3 (1082-1166) and Season 4 (1173 - 1257).

3.     The following points system is used for scoring the ATC. 1st - 15,   2nd - 9,   3rd - 6,   4th - 3,   5th - 2,   6th - 1. To score points for places 4th-6th the field must contain 8 or more runners, no cherry picking here :).

4.     Stables get placed in 3 different areas,  Rosehill Gardens (Life Members) - members that have been with us for the long haul and have remained active participants of the site.   Royal Randwick (Full Members) - members that have been in the ATC for at least one season and have remained fully active.   Canterbury Park (Social Members) - newer players get put here and get moved to the full members section after they remain active for a full season, trainers can only signup 1 stable (life/full members can have 3) while they are a social member. We do this as we get alot of people that join up and run their horses for a few weeks and either leave the game or find another residency more suitable. Social members are still eligible for the same competitions and events as all other members.

5.     Most players have their own silks that they put up in their stable and on the race page at NSW if you race there. At the moment I don't have the time to make up any silks but can forward you the blank silk if you are going to make your own. Paint Shop Pro is the easiest to use to color them and you can get it free :)..
