PUBLIC TRANSPORT IN KUALA LUMPUR
Within KL city centre there are five major bus hubs: KL Sentral, KLCC, Maluri, Titiwangsa and Pudu Sentral. These bus hubs are usually located near public transit stations such as Kelana Jaya Line transit stations.
The
KL Monorail is a pretty simple and well-connected train system network,
running between the city’s premier transport hub, KL Sentral, and
Titiwangsa in the heart of KL.
Operating
between 06:00 and 00:00, KL monorail trains arrive once every five
minutes during peak travelling hours, and the wait during off-peak
hours can take up to 12 minutes.
The
fares for monorail service start at RM1.20 for one stop and tokens can
be purchased at specialised machines dispensing blue plastic coin-like
tokens at the entrance of each station, before boarding the train.
