Changanacherry NSS H College Alumni UAE Chapter had a very humble beginning in 1990.We started our activities in Dubai with a handful of dedicated members. But soon former students of our college from all over UAE enthusiastically came forward and added strength to our organization. At present we have 160 members on roll most of them very active in all our endeavors. We celebrate Onam, Vishu, Christmas, New Year, Eid, Easter etc. with great colour and show. Our annual picnic and anniversary celebrations are events worth mentioning. Every year children of our members who pass class X/XII/Graduate/Post graduate examinations are honoured by us on the occasion of Onam celebration. . Our unit played a vital role in the formation of AKCAF, the umbrella organization of the alumni associations of more than 50 reputed colleges from Kerala. Our members actively take part in all the activities held under the banner of AKCAF. Our representatives were elected to lead AKCAF not once but on several occasions. . AKCAF celebrates Onam, the harvest festival of Kerala in a grand scale and we are proud to state that AKCAF Onam 1999 was organized by our Alumni unit in such a meticulous way that the event won the appreciation of all. It was an event of superior quality. . We have instituted an endowment to give scholarship to academically outstanding but economically backward students from our college. . We have donated a few computer units to the IT department of our college. . We work as a team: respect each other; share our views and no doubt there runs a spirit of oneness and brotherhood among us. This, we believe, is our strength, the secret of our success and we hope it can lead us to greater heights of glory. .
