What Key Club International is all about...

K.E.Y. -> Kiwanis Educating Youth
Kiwanis International sponsers Key Club. They began the first Key Club in 1925 in Sacramento, California to help guide the youth in their community. Soon, other Kiwanis clubs formed Key Clubs in their communities. Later, Key Club became its own service organization and is now known as Key Club International. Key Club International is the largest student-led youth service organization in the world consisting of over 245,000 members and 5,000 clubs in 24 countries. Overall, the main focus of key club is to provide service while building character and leadership in every memeber.

To develop initiative and leadership.

To give primacy to the human and spiritual, rather than to the material values of life.
To encourage the daily living of the Golden Rule in all human relationships.
To promote the adoption and application of higher standards in scholarship, sportsmanship, and social contacts.
To develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive, and serviceable citizenship.
To provide a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render unselfish service, and to build better communities.
To cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which makes possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism, and good will.
