Student Guidelines on Conduct

1. Duties and Responsibilites of a Student

In accordance with the Education Act of 1982, students shall have the following duties and responsibilities, in addition to others provided for under existing laws:
  1. To exert their out most in the development of their potentialities for service, particularly by undergoing an education suited for their abilities, in order that they may become assets to their families and to society;

  2. To uphold the academic integrity of the school, endeavor to achieve academic excellence, and abide by the school rules and regulations governing their academic responsibilities and moral integrity;

  3. To promote and maintain the peace and tranquility of the school by observing the schools rules of discipline by exerting efforts toward the attainment of harmonious relationships with fellow students, faculty and other school personnel;

  4. To participate actively in civic affairs, and in the social, economic and cultural development of the community toward the attainment of a just, compassionate and orderly society;

  5. To exert their out most in the development of their potentialities for service, particularly by undergoing an education suited for their abilities, in order that they may become assets to their families and to society;

  6. To exercise their rights responsibly with the knowledge that they are answering for an infringement or violation of the general welfare or the rights of others.
 
 
2. Guides on Right Conduct  
  1. Courtesy is expected of every student in this school. Every teacher is addressed as Miss, Mrs. or as Mr. As the case may be.

  2. Use of vulgar language, loud talking, shouting, boisterous laughter should be avoided.

  3. Every student should take care of his / her belongings. The school is not responsible for any loss, destruction of pupils belongings. However, honesty should be exercised and lost � and � found objects should be turned over to the office of the Principal.

  4. Every student should respect the school properties. Vandalism in any form or writing on the desk, walls, tables, etc. are strictly prohibited. Toilet and lavatories should be kept clean. Faucets should be closed after using. Electric fans and lights should be turned off when classrooms are not to be used.

  5. Every student should take care of his / her belongings. The school is not responsible for any loss, destruction of pupils belongings. However, honesty should be exercised and lost � and � found objects should be turned over to the office of the Principal.

  6. Empty bottles of softdrinks must be returned to the school canteen, while wrappers, etc. must be properly disposed in the trash cans provided. Fine shall be imposed on littering.

  7. Students must line up before and after each recess.

  8. Assemblies, programs, and other gathering should be considered as a part of the educational development and students should behave properly during each occasion.

  9. Students should always come to school in proper and complete uniform. Hair cut for the boys should be short and neat. Expensive accessories should be avoided.

  10. Playing at the church patio while Eucharistic celebration or any parish liturgical service is going on should be avoided.
