And back he comes just as the Big Burger Emporium is launching its latest promotion, the Galactic Five Mega Burger and toy range, in association with Arnie's latest sci-fi flick Galactic Five. As the advert says, go to the Big Burger Emporium, it's a fun-filled day for all the family.
For the staff, it's a nightmare. Stupid promotion hats that flop over their face while they work, though Richard manages to fry three of them. And the queues just get bigger every day.
Worse still, Danny has noticed just how much Leanne is flirting with him, something he doesn't realise was happening before he left the first time.
And Stacey has an addiction...juts sixteen cups a day of coffee if she makes the effort to cut down. Jittery and somehow even worse at her job then normal, she manages to spill milkshake over the same little girl and her mum for three days. On the third day, the girl begs her mum to take her away, cause the mad woman scares her. Stacey's not mad, she's just naff at her job and lives in a dream world.
The second half of the promotion comes, with the introduction of the new Galactic Five Big Burger Emporium potato wedge. The queues get bigger, the staff get more irate, until finally the store can't take it.
The fryers break down, and the technician Danny gets in is no help. He's a bloke Mike's known for ages...well he met him down his local a couple of weeks back, andhis mate, the technician who's actually qualified, is somewhere in Guatemala at the moment. So ti's up to Danny to ring...Linda to get the mess sorted...and as he says, he would have got a warmer reception at an angry eskimo's alcholics Anonymous convention at the north pole.
Finally the promotion ends after 1000000000000000000000000's of complaints, or that's what it feels like to the staff. Finally things can get back to normal...well now that Danny's realised he fancies Leanne, and Stacey has come to the realisation that she has an addiction at least.
However...the advert on TV says differently. Due to the huge success of the Galactic Five Big Burger Emporium promotion, the range of toys and foods is going to continue for another two weeks! As the exaggeratedly smiling husband wife and two kids on the advert shows, the Big Burger Emporium is the perfect place for the family!
