AREA
DAY 1
Leave Chiangmai by truck. 2 hours drive along picturesque route
through plains around many curves and steep dropoffs. Stop for lunch
at 'Mog Fa' Waterfall. Drive along mountainous route - heading for
natural hot springs. Stop for bathing in the mineral water. Proceed by
walking for 3 hour hike to Karen villages. See the tribe men in their
natural surroundings and typical lifestyle. Dinner and accommodation
in the village.
DAY 2
A steep 3-hour trek through dense forests to Karen villages.2 Hour
Elephant Safari through the forest to Lahu villages. Dinner and
accommodation in the village.
DAY 3
Proceed on Bamboo rafting for 3-4 hours along the Mae Tang River.Lunch
at The River Lodge. A break to laze around.1-hour easy trek to Akha
villages.Dinner and accommodation in the village.
DAY 4
Trek to the River Lodge.Lunch at the River Lodge.A break to explore
the beauty of the landscape. End of the day : back to Chiangmai.
