This is just some general information for the curious. Most of these questions/answers have been seen on various sites, but I still must place them up here because they are questions most ask.
Am I a vampire?:
No one can tell you, it's just something you know. You can read through the symptoms..but that still won't tell you if you're a vampire. I suggest going to your doctor and get everything checked out, to see if you don't have something like just an allergic reaction to the sun.
How are vampires made?:
You see, when two people love each other..(lol, I couldn't help myself) We're born..just like everyone else. We aren't "Sired"..we don't have "masters". (See "What happens during and awakening?" and "How can I tell if I'm a vampire?")
Can a vampire "turn" someone?:
This is a difficult question to answer. Although it has never been proven, some say it is still possible. I, on the other hand, do not think it's possible. Those who say it is possible say it's too dangerous to perform on a person anyway. br>
Will you turn me into a vampire?:
I don't even know how to do such a thing, and I don't even believe that it is even possible. I wouldn't wish being a vampire upon ANYONE, it's not something you'd want. We live a hard life, a LONELY hard life...and though out the raging thirst, the anger, frustration, and depression.. it's not worth it.
Do you have retracible fangs?:
No. Our teeth are like any other normal person. Although some vampires tend to have longer or sharper canine teeth, as can someone else.
What color are your eyes? Do they change colors while feeding?:
The colors of our eyes range greatly, just like everyone else. Most have said their eyes tend to change shades or colors, as do mine, but there is no set color for anyone. My eyes look like they change colors(grey,blue,green,or yellow), depending on my mood or if I'm thirsty or not.
I think I'm having an awakening. What happens during an awakening?:
An awakening happens usually around the ages of 15-20, it may take many years to complete an awakening. You undergo many mental and physical changes during this time. Such things as increased sensitivity to light/sound/emotions, drawing to night and darkness, the first signs of thirst, changing to a more nocturnal lifestyle and change of sleeping patterns. During this time of awakening you'll most likely feel alone and confused, and you shouldn't! There are many support sites(such as this one) and groups for the newly awakened(ing) vampire, and they understand what you are going through. We all went through it once.
What are the symptoms? How can I tell if I'm a vampire?:
Intense sensitivity to light/sound/emotions, an empathic nature, we tend to have a greater immune system than normal, and we do not get sick easily. I'm not saying we never get sick, but it's often rare and it comes few. Our normal temperture is around 95 to 97 degrees, lower than that of a normal human. Of course - the blood lust(if Sanguine). These are just a few "symptoms" of a vampire, there are many going unlisted. No one can tell you if you're a vampire or not. It's just something you know. One awakens from the "latent" vampire stage(meaning someone who is already a vampire, but the vampire tendence has yet to show), and goes a series of physical and mental changes to fully "awake" into a vampire.
