the gist.
Where applicable, I have listed where I got the patterns and what alterations I made. If you want any more information, please leave a comment on my livejournal. Also, I know it says knitting, but this section also includes crochet. It's just easier that way. Hopefully, I'll be adding my own patterns soon.

Grandma's Scarf

Pattern: Faggot Lace Scarf from Knitting for Dummies. I used sive 12 needles and four lace repititions. I also added a short fringe.
Yarn: Lion Brand Jiffy in Denver
Why?: For my grandma for Christmas 2004. Shh!

When Completed: 9/1/04
Other Notes: My first try at using fringe so it's a little short. Also, there's one row that's perled when it should have been knitted, but I decided it wasn't noticeable enough to go back half a dozen rows.

Hippie Hat

Pattern: Crochet Hat from Family Circle Easy Knitting Summer 2004. Because I'm lazy about gauges it ended up a little bigger than I hoped and it's two rows shorter than the pattern.
Yarn: Lion Brand Wool-Ease in Hunter Green
Why?: It was so pretty...

When Completed: 8/28/04
Other Notes: This is my first crochet project. I finished it in a day, which is amazing for me. I love this pattern because it was easy enough, but it looks more complicated, plus it only used one day and half a ball of yarn.
