Lego Earrings

Idea: From
clothes_surgery. I used screws with closed hooks on the end (notice my awesome hardware vocab) instead of nails and different colored legos.
How?: I held the screws over a candle with my jewelry pliars until it heated up and then put the tip in the lego. I waited for it to cool to screw it in the rest of the way. This seems to make it more secure than just putting a hot nail through it. I attatched jump rings and a fishhook earring and voila!
Why?: I was jealous of the person who thought of it

When Completed: 9/2/04
Other Notes: That's about it. It would be cool if a bunch of friends had them and you could build entire lego cities from your earrings...

NINJA Earrings

Idea: Same as above
How?: Pretty much the same as above, except these needed to be a lot hotter because the plastic was thicker.
Why?: Because ninja are awesome.
When Completed: 9/2/04
Other Notes: My friend got me hooked on the ninja you buy out of a little quarter machine at my work so I had a bunch of these lying around. Give me some fire, sharp objects, and a ninja and this is what you get. Also, I will get to say ninjas whenever possible and drive a certain person crazy.
