Interesting Writing by my students
February 2001 (Energy)
Dear Miami Metro

We are two students from Europe who have read your report about the global warming problem that could affect South Florida.  We agree withyour opinion that people should reduce their production of carbon dioxide.

We think there are many more possibilities to protect our environment.  For instance, people in the USA should use their bikes instead of using cards for short trips.  Another good idea is to develop cars without much carbon dioxide (we have electric cars in Switzerland).  We dont need cars with enormous 8-liter engines!

Another problem is the big garbage piles.  US people seem to put everything in large plastic packaging.  Sometimes the packaging is not necessary.

Last but not least, the problems with big factories in growing cities cause overflow of population.  Its really important to change the understand of the publics minds.  Is growth always better?

We hope you will follow Europes example and consume less energy.  You have a nice magazine,

Spelling 1

This page will show you example of spelling by students from different countries.  The letter below was written by students who speak Spanish and Arabic.  Their pronunciation is good, but they need to improve their spelling.
Can you guess how to spell HANSUM?
