Childeric Primary School 1988 - 1994

I started primary school when I was 5 years old. I was in a reception class RS where I met few of my closest mates (who I am friends with even till now). I can still remember little bits of my childhood school days. I have found a few of my drawings that I drew back then, they are well funny. I don't have many photos of me back then, I don't think I liked having my photos taken.

This photo was taken ages ago, I think I was aboout 8 years old. Sitting beside me is my sister kim (younger). Time went very slow in primary school. It felt as if I was there for a very long time. By the time I reached year 6, I had to choose which secondary school I wanted to go to. Nearly half the school chose Deptford Green school as it was local and very close to our homes.

Deptford Green School 1994 - 1995

We had something called "head start"...this was when the 1st years could attend school before all the other years (great....not). The first few years at secondary school, I seemed to enjoy it, we had nothing to worry about for a few years. As we reached year 9 things changed, We had to do exams called SAT's (our first real exams). We also had to pick our "options" for year 10 and 11. By the time we reached year 10, time just flew. I can still remember sitting there in my head of years office deciding my "options".

I chose :-

Geography A

Textiles A

D + T construction B

Short course spanish C

GCSE Chinese B

and of course we had to take

Science C C

Maths C

English C C

**** These are my GCSE grades

Well I'm happy bcoz I passed all my GCSE exams (10 of them). When I arrived at school to pick up my grades, I was sooooooo scared..but as I opened up the envelope...I screamed......with happiness. All I could see were these A's, B's and C's.

College 1999 - 2001

I have already finished my 1st year of A levels. Only 1 more year of college b4 I go to university. I didn't go to the Deptford Green sixth form as it was too far from my house. This meant that I had to go to a different place and meet new people. I suppose this is a good thing because I have 2 sets of friends, one set from my secondary school and one set from my college. I will always keep in touch with my secondary school mates. I try and visit them now and then.

Now I have moved onto college. I have picked the following 3 A Levels: -

Maths

Law

Economics and business

ONE MORE YEAR TO GO AT COLLEGE, THEN I'M OUT OF HERE TO GO TO UNIVERSITY
